Marmoleum
Forbo Marmoleum is an all natural, organic flooring made from pine tree rosins, wood flour, wood pulp, cork, and linseed oil. Its surfaces are extremely durable and wear resistant and actually harden with exposure to air, making it ideal for areas where high foot traffic and heavy rolling loads are the norm
Specified by architects and designers for both residential and commercial use, Marmoleum is waterproof, fire resistant, and stain resistant, and its deep, rich colours — created using environmentally responsible pigments — run through the entire product so it will not fade.
Marmoleum has been certified a sustainable product by the SMART© organization, meaning it has no adverse health issues whatsoever — during production, throughout its useful life, or after it’s disposed of. Its anti-static, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial surface (the result of the continual oxidation of linseed oil) prevents micro-organisms, including Salmonella and Staphylococcus Aureus, from multiplying.
Marmoleum is a warm, comfortable floor that you can walk on without your feet getting cold. It repels dust and dirt (making it easy to clean), reduces exposure to allergens, and contributes to better indoor air quality. In fact, Marmoleum is the first flooring to be certified by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation as asthma and allergy friendly.
Available in over 120 colours of sheet, and 30 colours of tile, Marmoleum provides the freedom to create an indoor environment unique to your home or place of work.
